1. ABIE Germany is the Germany-based arm of the Australian Business in Europe group that has independent branches in Australia and across Europe. The fundamental mission of ABIE Germany is to provide a forum for the exchange of predominantly business-related, but also cultural and social information relevant to Australia and / or Germany for its members in order to inspire a better mutual understanding of business, cultural and political affairs of the two countries.

2. In this way, ABIE Germany desires to generate a greater awareness of the commercial and cultural similarities and differences that exist in and between the two countries, as well as to offer a valued platform to members, for developing business and networking opportunities.

3. In particular, ABIE Germany objectives are:

• to actively promote networking of German, European and Australian business;

• to actively promote the establishment of business and government contacts in Germany, other parts of Europe and Australia;

• to actively promote German and European business activities in Australia and Australian business activities in Germany and Europe as a whole;

• to actively promote and initiate the exchange of first hand experiences and knowledge regarding trade and investment between Germany, other parts of Europe and Australia;

• To inspire and promote new ideas, methodologies and channels in which to conduct business between Germany, other parts of Europe and Australia;

• To create a greater awareness of Australian commercial, social and political affairs in Germany and Europe as a whole.
